I’d lost my job. I’d lost the love of my life. My mum wasn’t talking to me. My best friend was epically pissed off. And my flatmate probably had a hit out on me by now. I never meant for things to get so out of hand…

Tess Brookes has always been a Girl with a Plan. But when her carefully constructed Plan goes belly up, she’s forced to reconsider.
After accidently answering her flatmate Vanessa’s phone, she decides that since being Tess isn’t going so well, why shouldn’t she try out being Vanessa? With nothing left to lose, she accepts Vanessa’s photography assignment to Hawaii – she used to be an amateur snapper, how hard can it be? Right?
But Tess is soon in big trouble – she isn’t a photographer, she isn’t Vanessa, and the gorgeous journalist on the shoot with her, who is making it very clear he’d like to get into her pants, is an egotistical monster. Far from home and in someone else’s shoes, Tess must decide whether to fight on through, or ‘fess up and run…

I think I may have just fell in love…. From the location to Tess to Kekipi to Nick.

Where do I start.

At first I felt like I might be cheating on Angela (I Heart series) a little bit but I soon realised Angela and Tess would be besties if they ever met.

Tess is a LOT like me. Firstly we are both big boobed, huge issue when it comes to shopping but lets not go there. I have also been the hopelessly in love girl that is waiting for the guy to realise she’s the one, let me tell you it did not work out so well.

Anyway back to the story….When Tess arrives in Hawaii she meets Nick (the gorgeous journalist) and he does nothing but infuriate her from the minute she meets him.

Now I have a little confession. I am a little bit in love with Nick. I know he’s a bad boy but I think that may be part of the fun.

I loved every page. I am a little sad I have finished already. I envy everyone who is yet to read this book.

It was funny, romantic and just down right loveable. I am excited that this will be a new series. I CANNOT wait for next summer and the release of What A Girl Wants.

(Lindsey if you read this I’m totes #TeamNick)

About Lindsey Kelk

Um, hi! My name is Lindsey, I’m a writer, I live in New York and I’m an interwebs addict. Phew, now I’ve got that off my chest, there’s really not much else to say. I’m from England, specifically ‘up north’, lived in London for seven years then skidaddled to New York. I’ve been here since 2009 and I really don’t particularly want to leave. It’s ever so nice.

I write books, I write articles for magazines, I blog about beauty things, sometimes I put myself in very silly situations and write about that and on the odd occasion, I interview people. I’m much better at talking about myself though. I have been described as an ‘oversharer’. And ‘gobby’. I believe this is endearing.

I love music, movies and TV. I watch WWE. A lot. It’s possible I’m actually a 14-year-old boy who is confused about his sexuality. I’m naturally blonde. The prescription for my right eye is -9.5. I’m never in one place for too long and next year I want to travel lots more. I like cooking, eating and entertaining. And fashion. And yoga. And talking all of the time. I love texting. And karaoke. And Twitter. And football. And obviously, I’m a fan of reading, writing and all things book-related. I hate mosquitoes, small-minded people and pickles. But not pickled onions. I like pickled onions. Hard to get in the states, you know.
