Christmas Q&A with…Erin

1) Tell me a little bit about you

I am Erin and I’m a book blogger from a town near Glasgow in Scotland. I absolutely love reading and believe it or not “Christmas” books were something I wasn’t really aware off too much until I started blogging! I’m all about them now though and I’ll tell you my favourite in a couple of questions!

2) What do you love about Christmas?

Being with my family and friends. I have quite a small family but my boyfriend’s family is much bigger and we split our time between both houses on Christmas day. I love basically the period from Christmas Eve right through to after New Year because we visit different friends, and more often than not go away with them for a cheeky New Year winter break! I love spending time with my boyfriend’s nephews at Christmas and I am really looking forward to seeing my best friend’s baby at his first Christmas this year.

3) What do you hate about Christmas?

The snow. Does that sound bad? I love it to look at but I would really love if it could refrain from falling on the roads and causing all the mayhem that it does, especially this year as I’m working in between Christmas and New Year!#

4) What is your favourite Christmas book?

Coming Home For Christmas by Jenny Hale.

5) What is your favourite Christmas song?

I really love Step Into Christmas by Elton John – so cheesy – but I have a whole album that is my favourite so I can’t limit myself to one!

6) What was your best Christmas?

I haven’t had a worst Christmas so I’ve loved them all but the last Christmas we spent with my papa was really good. He’d been on his own for a couple of months since my gran passed away and he was actually the funniest guy that Christmas when we were all playing board games around the kitchen table on Christmas night.

7) What was your best Christmas present?

This one is difficult! I have been so fortunate with all of my Christmas presents! I really love my iPad which doubles as my kindle, I love my laptop and just at the end of August this year I redeemed my promised trip to London. I’ve had a few special presents from my boyfriend which may have brought tears to my eyes and I have a really amazing best friend who gave me a massive photo frame filled with all different pictures of us together, of my boyfriend and I and of my family. That was awesome. Oh and my Ryan Gosling calendar *swoon*

8) What was your worst Christmas present?

An electric toothbrush.

9) Describe your ideal Christmas

I’m really looking forward to being able to have Christmas lunch in my very own house and being able to have both sides of the family congregating in one place!

10) What do you want for Christmas this year?

I had this conversation with my mum and dad last night and I would really like a nice reading chair for my room which can turn into a reading chair for my reading room in my house even though I keep pretending to my boyfriend he can have any spare room for a games room! 😉

11) Where can we find you?

Thank you Erin for taking part in my Christmas Q&A.
