Charlie Williams’ view on relationships is simple—one night, no strings, move on.

But when the opportunity to see a girl from his past comes up, Charlie finds himself breaking all his own rules. Ever since the night he’d turned her away, Charlie hasn’t been able to get Charlotte off his mind. A break from his pub for a vacation across the pond should be enough to cure him of his curiosity and get her out of his system. At least, he hopes…

Charlotte Mackay channels love through coffee.

Running her fandom-themed store and specialty coffee bar keeps her nerdy heart busy after one too many relationship disappointments.
Until the man she can’t manage to forget calls.

Charlie’s coming to The Hamptons for a two-week vacation. She’s going to be his host—nothing more. She’d fallen under the spell of his bedroom eyes and roguish charm once before, and it nearly wrecked her. Charlotte can’t risk the same mistake twice.

But love knows no boundaries when two hearts collide.

Thank you to Sonya and Candace for providing me with a copy of this book. I have read the first two books in this series and the first 3 books in Sonya’s series The Six so when I had the opportunity to read and review this book I jumped at it.

While this is the third book in the A Game of Hearts novel it could be read as a stand alone. This book follows Charlotte and Charlie. Charlotte and Charlie first met in the second book, Runaway Heart. Neither have spoken in the years since. When Hannah can’t make her trip to visit Charlotte, Charlie takes her place.

Charlie and Charlotte have always had high sexual tension so with two weeks together things were always going to get intimate. I loved the banter between these two. It’s so natural and easy you ca’t help but enjoy it.

There were parts of this book that were heart destroying and parts that had me jumping for joy.

I absolutely loved the fairy tale bit. It was my favourite princess too. I also adored Charlotte’s store. It seems like the sort of place I would love to spend my spare time.

Cherry is a character that you can’t help but love and I hope that she has her own story soon.

About Candace Knoebel

Candace Knoebel is the award-winning author of Born in Flames—book one in a young adult fantasy trilogy. She discovered in 2009 through lunch breaks and late nights after putting her kids to bed, a world where she could escape the ever-pressing days of an eight to five Purgatory. And an outlet for all the voices residing in her head.
Published by 48fourteen in 2012, Born in Flames went on to win Turning the Pages Book of the Year award in February of 2013. In January of 2014, the last book in the trilogy, From the Embers, was released, thusly completing the trilogy. She now works on the Night Watchmen Series, while guzzling Red Bulls and pretending to be a ninja on Heelys.

About Sonya Loveday

Sonya Loveday, first and foremost is a reader, an avid one. It is of that love that brought her to the realization that this was the answer to the nagging persistent feeling that ‘there’s got to be something more’.
The dream came alive in 2009 when she purchased her laptop and began the tedious step of becoming a published author.
When she’s not reading, she’s writing. When she’s not writing, she’s reading. And when she’s not doing either of those things she’s sleeping, shuttling her children back and forth to school, letting the dogs and cats in and out of the house for the umpteenth time in the last hour and dreaming of a clean house.

I’ve met boys like him before. Rich. Bored. Always wearing a silver-spooned smile. But there is something different about him that piques my curiosity. The way he looks at me, like he is staring through the bars of a gilded cage he’s never left. Like he is one breath away from suffocating beneath a mound of responsibilities. He is different from the rest because he doesn’t wear his money… his money wears him. I just don’t think he knows it yet. She’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before. She’s everything […]
