For a man called Chris Kringle, Christmas is the most magical time of the year.  But this year, there’s something about a certain elf that’s grabbed his attention in the best of ways.

Leah Ward didn’t start the day intending to be an elf in Santa’s Village, but to help her sister she’d do anything, including an impersonation and squeezing into a too-tight elf suit.  But Leah didn’t count on the boss discovering her deception – or that he’d be enchanted by it. She certainly didn’t count on Chris deciding all his future kisses would belong to her.

A firm believer in Christmas magic, Chris knows the sparks that fly when he meets Leah are the once-in-a-lifetime kind, and he sees no point in wasting any time. All he has to do is convince a soft-hearted cynic that all magic is real – and that Christmas magic is the most powerful of all.

Review

Shortly after finishing A Touch Of Frost I found out that there was another book in the series and I had to get my hands on it. Turns out it was on Netgalley so I immediately requested a copy.

This book follows Chris and Leah. Chris is one of the owners of Frosty’s Snowmen and is in charge of the hiring and firing. Chris is confused when he notices an elf he didn’t hire. No one else is involved in the hiring so he starts to worry.

Leah’s sister had interviewed for the role of the elf but when her daughter is sick on her first day Leah offers to step in and take her place.

When Chris meets Leah he falls for her hard and isn’t afraid to tell her. Leah is a little overwhelmed at first with Chris’ honesty but she agrees to dinner.

I enjoyed this festive novella and hope there will be more to come from Rhian.

A Touch Of Frost

Jack had a great reason to be over Christmas: it’s not seasonal blues, it’s his family business, and there’s only so much tinsel you can have in your life without feeling bah humbug about it. But this year is different. He’s home after a long absence, with fences to mend, bridges to build and a commitment to change he intends to keep. Elle loves Christmas, and she is not about to let an arrogant Scrooge like Jack Frost ruin it for her. He might have her libido flashing like fairy lights, but she’s been burned by a guy on the rebound […]
