It’s normal to hate the man of your dreams, right?
Once upon a time, Abbie and Matt had swoon-worthy mini breaks in Paris, and Abbie would cook him steak wearing nothing but an apron and high heels. These days, they’re experiencing the longest dry spell on record… And Abbie is keeping a very big secret.
But she’s not ready to give up. Nobody knows Abbie like Matt does, and it helps that he’s tall, dark and handsome, with hazel eyes and dimples to die for.
Determined to reignite the romance, Abbie initiates Operation Memory Lane and recreates their happiest memories. Maybe breakfast in bed, sexy lingerie, dirty martinis and a romantic weekend in the countryside will bring back Abbie’s butterflies and make her giddy with happiness…
But revisiting the past is a risky business, and secrets always come out in the end. Will the truth ruin their second chance at love?
This totally addictive second-chance romance will give you All. The. Feels! Perfect for fans of Emily Henry, Sophie Kinsella and Beth O’Leary.

Thank you to Bookouture for my copy of this book via Netgalley. I have read a few of Sophie’s books and I have always loved her style.
Sophie deals with some very tough topics in this book. There are some really emotional scenes. The reason I like Sophie’s books is because they are realistic. You read things and think yes I get that or I totally understand how that character is feeling etc. there is nothing in there that you think woah I can’t relate to that at all.
I loved seeing Abbie and Matt’s love story through the ages. I loved jumping back and forth and seeing the background to some of the chapters. I loved Operation Memory Lane and thought it was a very sweet thing to do. I loved the nostalgia of it all. I haven’t been with my fiance as long as Katie and Matt but I totally get the teaspoon anger. There have been things just like it that infuriate me.
This book will have you going through all the emotions from tears of laughter to tears of sadness. From those little smirks and smiles to full on cringing (especially some of the 00’s fashion). If you are looking for a book that has all the romance and feels then this is for you.
