With missing turkeys, loose horses, troublesome terriers and randy huntsmen, Lottie is hard pushed to find time for a kiss under the mistletoe, let alone find the opportunity to woo Rory with her sexy Santa costume.
But there is only one thing Lottie really wants for Christmas, and only one man can deliver it…

Harry the spaniel sat worriedly on the edge of proceedings, his reindeer antlers having slipped to a jaunty angle, and Tilly having managed to wriggle out of her jumper was running round dragging it behind her, growling, and evading all capture attempts. In the end Tab admitted defeat in trying to get a line up and was on the point of declaring Harry the winner when there was a shout.
“Oh my good God, look at that.” Penny, who had been gazing out at the snow covered courtyard suddenly burst into a hee-haw laughter that made Lottie instinctively look at Tab, who buried her face in the dog’s fur so she wouldn’t giggle.
“Look!” They all looked.
It was Rory and Will, struggling to control the chef’s trolley as it bounced over the cobbles, zigzagging from side to side.
“Oh my God.” Tab who had relinquished hold of the dog, put her hand over her mouth, as Terence the turkey, now thoroughly roasted, threatened to jump off the tray. Rory dived one way as the trolley lurched the other, and Will caught unawares slipped on the icy surface and found himself perilously close to landing in the fountain.
Tab jumped up and down in excitement. “Lottie that is absolutely frigging fantastic, you’re the only person in the world who would do a Christmas dinner like this, isn’t she Dad?”
Tom nodded, a small smile on his lips. “She certainly is.”
