A winter wedding in Manhattan…and someone’s keeping a secret.
The day her husband Alex picks up a backpack and goes travelling, Angela Clark promises to stay out of trouble and keep both Louboutins on the ground.
So when her best friend’s boyfriend confides in her, it can’t hurt to help him pick out a ring at Tiffany’s surely?
And when her fashion magazine announces major changes, being terminally late and winking at your new boss in the lift isn’t that bad, is it?
Then suddenly there’s another big secret Angela’s got to keep – and the man she loves is still thousands of miles away. As the wedding of the year looms, and Manhattan switches on its Christmas lights, Angela is going to need her friends by her side as her old life looks set to change forever.

Thank you to Harper Collins for my copy of this book via Netgalley. I have been reading Lindsey’s books for many years now and I heart the I Heart Series. Angela is one of my favourite characters of all time so I was so excited to get back to her story.

Catching up with Angela and the gang is like catching up with old friends. It’s always full of laughs, adventures and leaves you with a warm feeling in your heart. This book has everything you have come to expect from an I Heart book.

I was sad that Alex was away for a large majority of this book but I did like seeing Angela and Jenny together like the old days. These two have such a special friendship it was great to see them go back to their roots. It was also great to see more of Jenny than in previous books. I’ve always been on #TeamJenny.

This is definately my favourite I Heart book yet. AND, AND there were crossovers! Yes, okay some minor ones and we don’t actually see them interacting with the I Heart characters but I was still super excited about it

I loved every damn page of this book and I was so proud of Alex and of Angie in this book. I can’t wait to read I Heart Hawaii!

About Lindsey Kelk

Um, hi! My name is Lindsey, I’m a writer, I live in New York and I’m an interwebs addict. Phew, now I’ve got that off my chest, there’s really not much else to say. I’m from England, specifically ‘up north’, lived in London for seven years then skidaddled to New York. I’ve been here since 2009 and I really don’t particularly want to leave. It’s ever so nice.

I write books, I write articles for magazines, I blog about beauty things, sometimes I put myself in very silly situations and write about that and on the odd occasion, I interview people. I’m much better at talking about myself though. I have been described as an ‘oversharer’. And ‘gobby’. I believe this is endearing.

I love music, movies and TV. I watch WWE. A lot. It’s possible I’m actually a 14-year-old boy who is confused about his sexuality. I’m naturally blonde. The prescription for my right eye is -9.5. I’m never in one place for too long and next year I want to travel lots more. I like cooking, eating and entertaining. And fashion. And yoga. And talking all of the time. I love texting. And karaoke. And Twitter. And football. And obviously, I’m a fan of reading, writing and all things book-related. I hate mosquitoes, small-minded people and pickles. But not pickled onions. I like pickled onions. Hard to get in the states, you know.

  1. I haven’t read anything by this author, but it sounds so cute! I’ll definitely have to check out the series. Great review!
