I call him a viper.Sure, he’s gorgeous, a young billionaire, and a power player in the London property scene, but I’ve known Rafe Hawkes my whole life. The partying playboy is like a snake on the prowl for prey when it comes to women. Looking for that first strike and the ability to hook a woman in with his charm and good looks. But there’s one woman he’ll never get his fangs into. And I’m proud to say that’s me.
Rafe is like a thorn in my side. Ever present, thanks to our friend circle, and utterly annoying. Whilst Rafe would never date a curvy perfumer, he lives to get under my skin and annoy me because it’s practically a sport for him.
Not that I completely mind dishing it back to him, of course. We’ve fallen into this weird relationship of living to antagonize each other.
I thought I would always be content with that … until one night changes everything between us. Everything as I know it has completely turned upside down.
And I’m not sure how I’m going to handle it.
Closing the Deal is a billionaire romance with a playboy who is not quite what he seems, a curvy heroine who faces personal and professional surprises, one bed, and a romance guaranteed to end with a happily ever after.

I have been so excited about Rafe and Bea’s story. We met Bea in previous books in this series but if you haven’t read them then you can till read this book as a stand alone.

Bea and Rafe have known each other since they were kids. Bea is best friends with Rafe’s sister so they tend to be in each other’s lives, much to each others irritation. Or so we think. I loved seeing Bea and Rafe’s relationship go from ‘hatred’ to adoration. I loved their nicknames for each other and that they kept them even after their relationship changed.

Bea is a confident curvy woman. She loves her job and she has great friends. I love that she isn’t worried about her figure. She is sure of herself and knows exactly what she wants. I think she is an inspiration to women out there.

Rafe is so caring and her really tries to be there for Bea through all the family issues that she has. He showed Bea that family is more than blood and I loved that. He’s also very supportive of her career issues.

This is a slow burn laugh out loud romance with a big enemies to lovers trope. Perfect for romcom fans.

Thank you to Aven for my copy of this book.

About Aven Ellis

I live in the Dallas area with my family. I enjoy clipping out recipes I will never get around to trying, working out, and chatting with friends on social media. I’m a hockey nut (Go Stars!) and watch as much as humanly possible. I also love shopping and fashion and admit to being obsessed with whatever the Duchess of Cambridge is wearing. In addition to be obsessed with the Duchess, I’m equally obsessed with any show or cookbook featuring Gordon Ramsay.
