It’s Christmas time in London! Bring on the lights twinkling along Regent Street, the Christmas tree in Covent Garden, mince pies and boozy hot chocolate—and one drop-dead gorgeous Scottish billionaire to go with it all, please…
Aoife O’Sullivan is eager to see what this December will bring. She’s determined to let go of the heartache of the past year and move forward. No more thinking about the love she lost. To find her spirit, Aoife decides to create a bucket list of festive sights to see in London and video blog them to celebrate her first Christmas in the city.
Aoife’s world, however, is turned upside down when Santa brings her something Scottish and sexy in the form of her ex. As soon as Aoife sees Jack MacInally, she knows she’s not over him. Both made serious mistakes, leading to their messy breakup. When Jack suggests taking the month of December—all thirty-one days—to start afresh, Aoife leaps at the chance to be with the man she has always loved.
Yet as they try to rekindle their romance, their past problems threaten to snuff it out. Will each of them be able to let go of their guilt and truly move forward? Will the gift of a second chance romance be something magical—or will this present end up returned to sender?
If you like swoony Scottish men, spirited heroines, and the backdrop of Great Britain, you’ll want to pick up this hilarious and heartwarming story.

I am so very excited to be writing this review. Christmas is my favourite time of the year. I love the lights, the food, the music, the drinks (both alcoholic and non). I love that most people are generally in a nicer mood around this time of year. But the thing I love the most? CHRISTMAS BOOKS! So when my favourite author told me that she was going to write a Christmas book well I was beyond excited!

This is the third book in the Billionaires series but you can read this as a standalone as each book follows a different couple. In this book, we are following Aoife (pronounced Eefa) and Jack. Aoife and Jack dated for 2 months at the end of last year. When they meet again this Christmas they both know that there’s still something there between them. Jack has more trepidation about rekindling their love than Aoife. Aoife and Jack are one of my new favourite couples. I love Jack’s sexy accent, his work ethic and his bravery. Aoife is also brave, independent and determined.

Flora, Jack’s grandmother, is an excellent character and I hope we get to see her again! It was also a delight to see the other couples from the first 2 books in this one. If you have read these books then you know that there’s a theme of matchmaking from the previous couples which I LOVE!

This book had it all! The humour, the romance and ALL THE FEELS. For those Christmas fans out there it also had not only Christmas in London but also in Edinburgh. Aoife and Jack get to spend time in both cities enjoying all they have to offer for the festive season. If you haven’t seen either of these cities at Christmas time then you’ll be dying to after reading this book. I loved Christmas in London! I usually go around this time of year but I haven’t been for a few years so it was lovely to feel like I was right there. I’ve only been to Edinburgh in the summer but now I definitely want to go at Christmas.

The final thing I have to say about this book is that I am now DYING for the next book in this series. I am desperate for Mr Chairman and I challenge you not to be too!

About Aven Ellis

I live in the Dallas area with my family. I enjoy clipping out recipes I will never get around to trying, working out, and chatting with friends on social media. I’m a hockey nut (Go Stars!) and watch as much as humanly possible. I also love shopping and fashion and admit to being obsessed with whatever the Duchess of Cambridge is wearing. In addition to be obsessed with the Duchess, I’m equally obsessed with any show or cookbook featuring Gordon Ramsay.
