Sun, sea and a sexy stranger – a whole lot of fun just got a lot more complicated
Capable, confident and career-driven, Ellen had her dream job and a marriage proposal from boyfriend Ross. Life was good, her future set. Until it wasn’t and everything fell apart…

Whisked off to the beautiful island of Corfu to plan her sister Lacey’s big, fat, Greek wedding, Ellen is hoping some time out will help clear her head and heal her heart. But letting go of her past is not going to be easy.

With Lacey in full on Bridezilla mode, Ellen is soon distracted from her own problems. And when the all-inclusive treats on offer at hotel Blue Vue include one gorgeous, brooding Adonis – Yan – Ellen finds him difficult to resist.

But Ellen isn’t looking for love or lust, or anything involving too much ouzo…or is she?

Thank you to Bookouture for providing me with a copy of this book via Netgalley. I requested this book because I am half greek and my favourite island (of the ones I have been to) is Corfu. I haven’t visited Agios Spyridon where the Blue Vue Hotel is situated but I have been to Sidari which is visited in the book.

This book follows Ellen as she and her sister Lacey are visiting the Blue Vue hotel to plan Lacey’s wedding. Ellen has a few secrets that are very well hinted at in the book. Mandy does a great job of keeping you on the edge about Ellen’s secrets. It has you turning page after page to find out what they are.

Yan is part of the animation team at the hotel. Yan is quite a hottie but he has a few secrets of his own. He recently left Bulgaria and needs this job. He can’t do anything to jeopardise it. He knows that getting involved with the guests is frowned upon but for some reason there is something about Ellen that he just can’t keep away from.

Ellen and Yan’s reluctance for each other was very entertaining. Neither wanted a relationship and at first neither wanted to be around the other but for some reason the two of them couldn’t help but look for each other.

This book made me feel like I was sitting right next to Ellen, Lacey and Yan and the rest of the characters. When I finished I felt like I had been transported back to Greece without leaving my living room.

This is the perfect Summer read and I can’t wait to read some of Mandy’s other books.
