That time of year has come to write one of the most difficult posts of the year. My favourite books of the year.
This year I have read 21, 702 pages over 82 books and picking my top 10 was extremely difficult especially with this stupid cold. Anywho in no particular order these are the top 10 books I read this year. Please click on the covers to see my review.
The Keepers Series
Ok this is a little bit of a cheat as this series is three books (four if you count the prequel novella) but this was such a good series that I had to pick all three.
On Thin Ice
I feel like I have been waiting for this book forever. So this HAD to be in my top 10 of the year.
Red Queen Series
Ok I was a little late to this party but I read both the Red Queen and Glass Swords this year and I LOVED them.
The Star and Sixpence Series
Technically I started this series last year but most of the books were this year and the A year in the Star and Sixpence has recently been released and I would highly recommend it.
Comfort Food Cafe
I love Debbie’s writing and this series was no exception. This series really gets to your emotions and Debbie had me experiencing every single one with these two.
The Girls Guide to Falling in Love
This is a book that has been on my TBR pile for a while and as part of my Bookouture month I decided to pick it up and I wish I had read it earlier.
Night School: Genesis
This is another book that has been on my TBR pile for a while and I just cant get over how good it was. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series.
Christmas Under a Cranberry Sky
Holly Martin has been a firm favourite of mine and with every book she grows. I adored this story because is showed that true love will wait.
At Cedarwood Lodge Series
Rebecca Raisin has been a firm favourite of mine since her first book so when I heard she had a new series set at the best time of year I had to read it.
Sugar and Ice
The final book in my top ten is Sugar and Ice. This book just sneaked it’s release in before the end of the year and if you read anything before the year is over I would definitely suggest its this one.
Fab post, Emma! So many great books – most of which I still have to read. Thank you for sharing x
