1) Tell me a little bit about you
I’m married to Darren and we have two boys Tom (7) and Sam (4) who are both very excited about Christmas. When I’m not writing my novels, I work for All About Soap magazine, so at the moment I’m immersed in all the big soap storylines for this Christmas.
2)What do you love about Christmas?
I love most things about Christmas, but my favourite thing is having a big chunk of time off work and spending it with my family.
3) What do you hate about Christmas?
I don’t like the extra stress it brings, trying to find the right presents and get everything done in time – but it’s always worth it in the end.
4) What is your favourite Christmas book?
It has to be A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens – it’s the most classic Christmas book there is.
5) What is your favourite Christmas song?
This is a really tough one! But as a lifelong George Michael fan, I think I’ll have to go for Last Christmas.
6) What was your best Christmas?
I think every year since we had our two children. They really make Christmas special and it gets better every year.
7) What was your best Christmas present?
A Sindy house – the one with the lift up the side. It must have been in about 1981!
8) What was your worst Christmas present?
I’m lucky enough to have always been given lovely presents. I must be very easy to buy for!
9) Describe your ideal Christmas
It would be just me, my husband and our boys to begin with, having a nice breakfast and opening presents. Then all our family for lunch, with lots of laughter and good conversation. Then just me and my husband in the evening again, chilling out on the sofa with a glass of wine, once the boys have gone for bed.
10) What do you want for Christmas this year?
I’d like a pink scarf, a hot water bottle and a book charm for my charm bracelet.
