Favourite Authors/Books found through blogging

Hello,

I apologise for the missing birthday post yesterday I was working on my trainee scheme all day and gave myself a break by going to the cinema in the evening.

Today I want to talk about my favourite books and authors I’ve discovered because of blogging.

My absolute favourite author I have found through blogging is Aven Ellis. I could talk to you for hours about this but I have a special post for Aven lined up for tomorrow. Before I blogged  I very rarely read self published authors. Not because I had anything against them but mainly because I didn’t really know about them. I mean I didn’t even know they were called indie authors. Because of blogging I have read many self published authors and I tell you what they write some of the best books. I LOVED Karli Perrin’s April Showers and April Fools books. I had heard from a lot of fellow bloggers that is was amazing so I was thrilled when Karli sent me a copy of both books for review. Lucifer by Annabell Cadiz was another great self-published book that I read and I am eagerly awaiting the sequel. Another amazing self-published book is Desperately Ever After by Laura Kenyon. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this book. I think that as bloggers we should be helping these authors to get these amazing stories out there.

I thought that this post should really be to promote the books we love the most so I asked if any of my blogger friends would like to join in.

Angie @ Confessions of an Unsespected Bookworm responded with her favourite book Making Faces by Amy Harmon. She said it was one of the most well written and thought provoking stories about finding love. Is true beauty in the eye of the beholder or is it something deeper?

Jo @ Comet Babe’s Books also sent me a lovely email saying since blogging I have found so many wonderful books and I could say I have a favourite book.  The one I would say I found wonderful is The Guestbook by the lovely Holly Martin, it has everything, it’s fun, unique characters, with a whole lot of romance and it is written in a totally different way.

Giveaway

If I could give you all of the books I’ve mentioned above I totally would but as most of them are ebook only I could only giveaway the ones on Smashwords. Jo and Angie have also kindly donated a copy of their favourite books.
