Once upon a time, a tattooed viscount said I wasn’t ready for him.He was right. But things have changed. Now, perhaps it’s time to design a happily ever after on our own terms…
They call me the Royal Rebel. As the youngest princess, and daughter of the King’s brother, I’m known for pushing boundaries. With fashion. With my family. With men.
I don’t play by their rules. I make up my own.
That changes when I run into Colin Bennick at a wedding reception. With his title and connections, he’s everything I’ve tried to avoid in a man. But with his sexy, dark-haired looks—and the ink on his forearm—he has definitely caught my attention.
Only he isn’t interested in playing games with me. His rejection hits me hard and I don’t react well.
But when a family crisis of royal proportions strikes, I have to grow up fast. I quickly realize that Colin was right about me. I wish I could have another chance to make things right between us.
I get my chance when he unexpectedly shows up at Balmoral. Now, the clock is ticking to discover if the chemistry between us is enough, and if I’ve finally found a prince among men…

It’s been a little while since the last book in this series and I know a lot of us have been eagerly awaiting Victoria’s story. This is the 5th book in the Modern Royals series but they could all be read as standalones. Each book focuses on a different couple.

Victoria is dealing with the aftermath of her parents very public break up and has decided to take some time for herself this summer. Victoria has never let anyone into her heart. She has very big walls and is always the one to end things before they get too serious. Then along comes Colin.

Victoria has grown so much over the series and dealing with her parents break up has showed us there is so much more to her than anyone thought. Victoria is strong, brave and smart. Colin helps her to bring this side out more and together they really thrive. I loved checking in 2oth the squad and seeing some potential new members future stories emerge. I am so down for these!

This book is the perfect summer read. If you are looking for hot, steamy and swoony then this is the perfect choice for your summer reading list.

About Aven Ellis

I live in the Dallas area with my family. I enjoy clipping out recipes I will never get around to trying, working out, and chatting with friends on social media. I’m a hockey nut (Go Stars!) and watch as much as humanly possible. I also love shopping and fashion and admit to being obsessed with whatever the Duchess of Cambridge is wearing. In addition to be obsessed with the Duchess, I’m equally obsessed with any show or cookbook featuring Gordon Ramsay.
