Katie is supposed to be on vacation but of course Katie doesn’t know how to take a break so she ends up leading a murder case in the little town of Echo Forest where she is staying. Echo Forest is a strange little town. There are quite a lot of mysteries going on and quite a few small town quirks, like the local vet as the towns forensics officer! It is the perfect location for a murder scene though. It’s very eerie and the weather changes add to the atmosphere. It really gives you the creeps!
Katie and the team work so well together. Katie and Gav have been partners for so long now they know how to work perfectly in sync. Cisco is always raring to jump in but Katie always makes sure it’s safe for him to do so.
This case had a lot of clues but none that made sense at first. This book is full of suspense and mystery that will keep you guessing until the very end!
This story is perfect for crime thriller lovers.
