Rosie’s 3 Essential Christmas Songs Playlist
So first up is OBVIOUSLY Mariah. This song, (ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS) is just genius. It didn’t matter where you are it is IMPERATIVE that you sing along. In fact I believe it is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to hear this song and NOT sing along.
After you have grown hoarse from replays of the above you can hot it up a bit with some SANTA BABY (the original 1953 version please by Eartha Kitt). Please focus on your pouting and bad seductive dancing. Best done in very ugly Christmas jumper.
Lastly I’m a sucker for a classic. This one is played by my mother as we all join in the descant around the piano (yes we are THAT family). MARY’S BOY CHILD – a corker of a song and a guarantee of maximum festive cheer in the Blake household.
So there it is… My list of essential Christmas listening. Happy Christmas All!
