Is it a break? Or is it a blip?

LIV and ADAM are in love.
LIV and ADAM are supposed to be getting engaged.
Until ADAM accidently suggests they take a break.
And LIV starts thinking …

Friends, family and bystanders all have an opinion and one complication leads to another as Adam and Liv try to muddle through in this hilarious, heartwarming comedy.

Are they split up – or are they on a break? What exactly are they allowed to get away with? And, most importantly, what do Liv and Adam really want?

Thank you to Harper for providing me with a copy of this book. I am a huge Lindsey Kelk fan. I have read every single one of her book and there hasn’t been one I didn’t like.

This book is different to your typical chick lit/romance story. Instead of starting when the couple first meet we meet Liv and Adam just before everything goes terribly wrong. While I love the typical boy meets girl story I also really enjoyed this change of pace. Especially when you throw in Lindsey’s unique and witty style.

The book switches between Liv and Adam’s POV which I really enjoyed. I love seeing the story from different perspectives. It’s really interesting to see the story through another pair of eyes. Especially in this instance where we got to see inside the male head as well as the female. Liv and Adam are extremely relatable characters and you can’t help but want them to work it all out.

As per usual Lindsey had me laughing, crying and wanting to cover my eyes with stress. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to see what Lindsey brings us next.

About Lindsey Kelk

Um, hi! My name is Lindsey, I’m a writer, I live in New York and I’m an interwebs addict. Phew, now I’ve got that off my chest, there’s really not much else to say. I’m from England, specifically ‘up north’, lived in London for seven years then skidaddled to New York. I’ve been here since 2009 and I really don’t particularly want to leave. It’s ever so nice.

I write books, I write articles for magazines, I blog about beauty things, sometimes I put myself in very silly situations and write about that and on the odd occasion, I interview people. I’m much better at talking about myself though. I have been described as an ‘oversharer’. And ‘gobby’. I believe this is endearing.

I love music, movies and TV. I watch WWE. A lot. It’s possible I’m actually a 14-year-old boy who is confused about his sexuality. I’m naturally blonde. The prescription for my right eye is -9.5. I’m never in one place for too long and next year I want to travel lots more. I like cooking, eating and entertaining. And fashion. And yoga. And talking all of the time. I love texting. And karaoke. And Twitter. And football. And obviously, I’m a fan of reading, writing and all things book-related. I hate mosquitoes, small-minded people and pickles. But not pickled onions. I like pickled onions. Hard to get in the states, you know.
