In Wynbridge, the scent of autumn is on the breeze and love is in the air…

Clemmie Bennett has been renovating beautiful Rowan Cottage on the outskirts of the small town of Wynbridge, for eighteen months following a very public heartbreak back in her childhood hometown. The popular Instagram influencer, lost her husband, sold their home, and has been cosied up the Fens and living a very private life, but now she feels it’s time for a change.

A chance encounter with co-owner of The Cherry Tree Café, the bubbly Lizzie Dixon, pulls her into organizing Wynbridge’s first-ever Autumn Festival, and her once quiet life is soon a distant memory. With the whole town rallying behind the event, she discovers a new sense of purpose.

And when local vet Ash falls hard for Clemmie, she begins to wonder if she’s ready to move even further on from her past and fall in love again…

This autumn, cosy up with Heidi and this perfect seasonal romance.

Autumn is my FAVOURITE time of year. I love the pretty leaves on the ground and the cooler weather. I love all the oranges and burgundies that you see around. I love all those autumn flavours of apples, cinnamon and squashes. And of course I love a good Pumpkin Spice Latte! So of course when  I heard that Heidi was going to write an autumn themed book I was ecstatic. I was however slightly sad when I realised that meant there would be no Christmas book from Heidi this year, which I will miss dearly.

Clemmie Bennett is a character you just instantly love. She has been through one of the worst tragedies imaginable and my heart broke for her. I was so very glad when she bumped into Lizzie and she started to come out of her self imposed prison. I was so happy to see her open herself up again to friends and eventually love.

The autumn festival was amazing. It was absolutely everything I would love to do at this time of year. I wish there were as many events local to me that I could do. I would definitely be signing myself up to as many as possible.

This book had everything I have come to expect from Heidi. With her signature community feel and very important topics which are delicately handled. I know Heidi is a keen gardener and a big believer of nature being healing on our souls which you really get a sense of in this story.

I almost forgot to talk about Ash. Oh hunky veterinarian Ash. What a man. I fell for  Ash the second he appeared on the page. With little Pixie and his need to find her a perfect home I knew that man was a keeper!

If you are looking for an autumn themed romcom with a community feel then this is the book for you!
