Bobby Beckerson was the American All-Star hockey player–he was the spitting image of perfection to his family. Goofy, sweet and undeniably gorgeous, he had everything but the one girl he wanted: River Ahlers.
River Ahlers is successful in everything but love. She’s been in love with Adam Beckerson since they were kids. Worst of all she’s stuck right in the middle of the brother’s dueling over everything and anything, and she doesn’t even know she’s the ultimate prize.
Adam Beckerson was a boy with a guitar, a smile that sunk girl’s hearts and a stone wall around his own. He was anything but perfect, and no matter how hard he tried he was nothing compared to Bobby. Sweet, damaged, with boyish good-looks, no body thought Adam loved anyone but himself.
Bobby loved River, River loved Adam and Adam only loved himself–or so everyone thought. Then one night everything changes, and as it threatens to destroy everyone involved a tragedy strikes that will break them all…
I’ve literally just finished this book and my reactions is bbbb. I don’t even know how to formulate a word right now.
So I loved this book. I loved the relationship between Adam, Bobby and River.
River is your typical girl struggling through life. Except she’s in love with her best friend, and has been for nearly 10 years. I found River very relatable and realistic. I honestly felt so sorry for her being in love with a guy who clearly didn’t realise.
Bobby was a sweetie. He’s been in love with River for nearly 10 years. River has been his best friend just as long. They grew up together and know each other inside out. But there’s one problem…one big problem River is in love with his little brother Adam.
Adam, oh adam. He is definately my type. I am so an A&F girl, I’d let him make me breakfast everyday! He’s hot, damaged but totally loveable. Everyone knows Adam is a player and the only person he loves is himself…..or does he?
This book is super addictive. I read it so quickly. It has totally left me reeling. I’m a mix of emotions and I can’t tell up from down right now. I cannot wait for the rest of the series. I need to know what is going to happen next. I cannot cope with it ending like this.
