When Jordan hires him to design her wedding gown, Jax knows he’s in trouble, but he cannot walk away. As business meetings turn to late-night confessions, their connection deepens, igniting passion too strong to deny. They’re drawn into an inescapable and forbidden love. Loyalties are tested and hearts are frayed, but neither will cross that invisible line in the sand. Come along for the sexy, emotional ride as Jax and Jordan face their toughest competitors yet—their hearts.

Wow, what an interesting story! This is the 9th book in this series but all could be read as standalone. Jax and Jordan have appeared in some of the previous books in this series but as background characters.

Jax and Jordan first met last summer and the spark immediately flew. The problem was Jordan was engaged to another man. From the off, it was obvious that Jordan and Todd (Jordan’s fiance) were not meant to be together. Todd is a complete A-hole and like a lot of characters in this book if I ever got my hands on him I would throttle the man for the way he treats Jordan.

I loved the slow build-up for Jordan and Jax. Jordan is so torn between doing what she thinks is expected of her and following her heart. I really identified with her character. We have been through some similar experiences and I could really understand how Jordan was feeling. Jax was a complete gentleman. I absolutely loved his character a how he was willing to do anything for Jordan. He treated her like the princess that she is

This book had me laughing, crying and wanting to hug my loved ones. It was full of some of the most swoony and heartbreaking moments Melissa has written. this one is definitely my new favourite!
