Get ready to enjoy your first holiday abroad with small children. Highlights include: being woken at 5 every morning and working a gruelling day in unbearable heat chasing kids around the pool with a bottle of sunscreen. Added features: screaming during mealtimes and toddlers moaning about sand. Absolutely no sex guaranteed or your money back!

Katy and Ben and their four closest friends are going to Spain for a week with their kids. Sun, sex and sangria? Almost certainly not.

The couples think they are prepared for all the joys and trials a family holiday has to offer but they have a shock coming, and not only from the kids. Into their first day by the pool crashes Ollie, who has just been dumped by his girlfriend, and Cassie, on her hen party holiday but having serious doubts about her impending marriage. A recipe for a relaxing week abroad? Let’s wait and see…

Thank you to Bookouture for my copy of this book via Netgalley and for letting me take part in this tour. I LOVE this series. I have been following Katy and the gang for a few years now and I was so excited to be back in their world.

The first few chapters catch us up on each of the three couples since the end of the fourth book No-one ever has sex at a Wedding. In this latest chapter, Katy and her friends are going on a package holiday to Spain. I was very shocked when I read that Daniel was joining them as this would totally not be his scene. This, of course, causes much hilarity.

Abby was very irritating in this book. I think that Braindead had a lot more patience than I do. I think rather than being indulged Abby needed sitting down and finding out what was really wrong. I think she was having some real issues that he wasn’t picking up on. While Braindead is extremely clever he has been known to miss the things right under his nose.

As usual with these books, there were many laugh out loud moments along with some real heartwarming moments. Katy has a big heart and is always trying to help others which is exactly what happens here.

It was great to introduce two new characters Cassie and Ollie and I hope if this series continues that these two will make an appearance again. They were really fun.

It was a pleasure to return to Katy and the gang. This is an easy book to read, I raced through it in just a few hours. Sadly I was on a very windy, cloudy seafront in England and not a warm, sunny beach in Spain!

About Tracy Bloom

Tracy started writing when her cruel, heartless husband ripped her away from her dream job shopping for rollercoasters for the UK’s leading theme parks, to live in America with a brand new baby and no mates. In a cunning plan to avoid domestic duties and people who didn’t understand her Derbyshire accent, she wrote her romantic comedy, NO-ONE EVER HAS SEX ON A TUESDAY. This debut novel went on to be successfully published internationally and became a #1 Best Seller.
Back in the UK she has continued her writing career and has just launched her sixth book.
